Do you know Jesus as your personal Savior?
My we share with you how to ask Jesus into your life?
1) REALIZE AND ADMIT YOUR LOST CONDITION
"For there is no respect of persons with God." Romans 2:11
God treats everyone the same.
"As it is written, There is none righteous, no not one." Romans 3:10
There is nobody all good, but God.
"For all have sinned, an come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
We have all done wrong and not what God wanted us to do.
2) REPENT OF YOUR SINS TO JESUS
"For the wages if sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23
What we deserve is separation from God for our actions, but God gives us everlasting life through a personal relationship with Jesus.
To repent is to tell God you're sorry and turn from you ways to God's way.
"But God commendeth His love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
God loved you before you were even born. God;s salvation plan was in place before you were born.
#3 RECEIVE JESUS AS SAVIOR
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10
We must believe that god raised Jesus from the dead and ask Jesus to come into our lives personally to be our Lord and Savior.
The "Sinner's Prayer" is how you ask Jesus into your life. You can say something like this or repeat it after me:
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I want to ask you to forgive me of my sins and help me to follow you. Jesus, please come into my life and be my Savior right now and I will give you my life. Thank you Jesus for saving me. In Jesus name, Amen."
#4 REJOICE WITH ASSURANCE OF HEAVEN
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, thou shall be saved."
Romans 10:3
You have realized your lostness, repented of your sins, received Jesus as Savior, and now you are assured of your home in heaven. This can never be taken away. Rejoice now even more, that you will spend your eternity with God in heaven. PRAISE THE LORD!
Now you must make your decision public in a church. Tell others what Jesus has done for you.
Next, follow the Lord in "Believer's Baptism," showing that you have died to your old life, and raised into a new life with Jesus. This will help you become part of a growing church. Get involved in Sunday School, Worship, and all types of fellowship opportunities in the church.
Finally, share your faith with someone else! What has Jesus done for you?
